Bezeichnung / Name

Unter dem Namen «Bjørn S. Cience Association» besteht ein Verein nach Art. 60 ff. ZGB mit Sitz in 6003 Luzern, Moosstrasse 26.

An association exists under the name "Bjørn S. Cience Association" in accordance with Art. 60 ff. ZGB with its registered office in 6003 Lucerne, Moosstrasse 26.

Neutralität / Neutrality

Bjørn S. Cience Association ist parteipolitisch unabhängig und konfessionell neutral.

Bjørn S. Cience Association is politically independent and denominationally neutral.

Zweck / Purpose

Bjørn S. Cience Association bezweckt als Trägerverein das Mehren des Ruhms des Wissenschaftsbärs. Der Verein ist dem Ziel verpflichtet, zu zeigen, dass es möglich ist, in der Wissenschaftscommunity berühmt zu werden, ohne selbst etwas zu tun.

Bjørn S. Cience Association is an association with the aim of increasing the fame of the Science Bear. The association is committed to demonstrating that it is possible to become famous in the scientific community without doing anything yourself.

Mitgliedschaft / Membership

Aktive Mitglieder können natürliche oder juristische Personen sein. Die Aufnahme in die Bjørn S. Cience Association erfolgt durch das Präsidium auf Anfrage. Der Austritt ist jederzeit möglich. Mit dem Austritt erlöschen alle Rechte oder Ansprüche an den Verein.

Active members can be natural persons or legal entities. Membership in the Bjørn S. Cience Association is granted by the Board of Directors on request. Resignation is possible at any time. Upon resignation, all rights or claims to the association expire.

Mittel / Resources

Die Bjørn S. Cience Association finanziert seine Tätigkeit aus freiwilligen Beiträgen Mitglieder, aus Beiträgen von öffentlichen Subventionsgebern und aus Unterstützung und Zuwendungen Dritter. Für die Verpflichtungen der Bjørn S. Cience Association haftet ausschliesslich das Vereinsvermögen.

The Bjørn S. Cience Association finances its activities from voluntary contributions from members, from contributions from public funding bodies and from support and donations from third parties. The Bjørn S. Cience Association is liable for its obligations solely through its assets.

Organe / Bodies

Organe der Bjørn S. Cience Association sind die Mitgliederversammlung und das Präsidium.

The bodies of the Bjørn S. Cience Association are the General Assembly and the Board of Directors.

Mitgliederversammlung / General Assembly

Die Mitgliederversammlung besteht aus allen Mitgliedern des Vereins. Sie findet mindestens jährlich auf Einladung des Präsidiums statt. Sie kann ausserordentlich von einem Fünftel der Mitglieder einberufen werden. Die Mitgliederversammlung bestimmt die allgemeinen Richtlinien und Zielsetzungen der Bjørn S. Cience Association, nimmt Rechnung und Jahresbericht ab, und legt Budget und Jahresprogramm fest. Sie wählt das Präsidium. Aktive Mitglieder sind mit einer Stimme stimmberechtigt.

The General Assembly consists of all members of the association. It takes place at least once a year at the invitation of the Board of Directors. It may be convened extraordinarily by one fifth of the members. The General Assembly determines the general guidelines and objectives of the Bjørn S. Cience Association, adopts the accounts and annual report, and determines the budget and annual program. It elects the Board of Directors. Active members are entitled to one vote.

Präsidium / Board of Directors

Das Präsidium vertritt die Bjørn S. Cience Association nach aussen und vollzieht die Beschlüsse der Mitgliederversammlung. Es besteht aus der Präsidentin oder dem Präsidenten und wenigstes zwei weiteren Mitgliedern. Das Präsidium konstituiert sich selbst. Das Präsidium kann sich durch weitere Mitglieder für die Organisation und Verwaltung der Aktivitäten der Bjørn S. Cience Association und allfällig weitere Aufgaben ergänzen.

The Board of Directors represents the Bjørn S. Cience Association externally and implements the resolutions of the General Assembly. It consists of the President and at least two other members. The Executive Committee constitutes itself. The Board of Directors may be supplemented by other members for the organization and administration of the activities of the Bjørn S. Cience Association and any other tasks.

Geschäftsjahr / Financial Year

Das Geschäftsjahr ist mit dem Kalenderjahr identisch.

The financial year is identical to the calendar year.
